Internationally-acclaimed artists Jonah Kim (cello) and Sean Kennard (piano) will be joining C2C producers and composer/arrangers Sheridan Seyfried (violin) and Ya-Jhu Yang (flute) for an exhilarating and varied program. Rounding out the ensemble is last year’s featured artist, Pam Pecko Smith (flute).
This year’s program includes music by Johannes Brahms and George Gershwin, as well as brand new compositions by Seyfried. In celebration of our tenth year, we’ll be reprising favorite selections from over the years, including Gary Moore’s Still Got the Blues, Bartok’s Romanian Folk Dances and, of course, some of our signature Celtic dance tunes.
About Celtic to Classical
Celtic to Classical presents mixed-genre live concerts in Southern Delaware. Movements of classical masterworks are presented alongside other styles, such as Celtic, bluegrass, New Age, and folk. Listeners will often hear arrangements and compositions by the producers of the series, Sheridan Seyfried and Ya-Jhu Yang, who perform on piano, violin, and flute, alongside guest musicians.
Concerts last a little more than one hour. A free-will offering is accepted in lieu of ticketed admission. Seating is first-come, first-served.
